Care providers and commissioners
If you are a care home manager, commissioning officer, NHS or Integrated Care Board technology lead, or occupational therapist researching companion or assistive robot technology for a care setting, write to us with a brief description of your setting and what you are trying to achieve.
It helps to include: the type and size of your setting, the specific need you are trying to address (companionship, medication reminders, family connection, or other), and whether you are at a research, evaluation, or active planning stage. We will respond with relevant information and, where appropriate, introductions to UK providers.

If you have questions about a robot technology being used in a care home where a relative is a resident, or if you are researching whether a companion device might help a relative living at home, you are welcome to write to us.
We provide information only. We do not give medical or clinical advice, and we are not a regulated care service. If you have concerns about a relative's care, those concerns should be directed to the care home management or to the Care Quality Commission. We can point you toward useful information and explain what the technology in question typically does.

We are building a provider directory and are interested in connecting with legitimate, active UK operators.

We are happy to be cited as a UK information resource on companion robots and humanoid technology in care settings. Journalists, researchers and policy analysts are welcome to write to us with questions. We will respond where we are able to add useful, accurate information.
Response times
Email response times are typically a few working days. We are an independent UK information resource, not a large organisation with a dedicated customer service team. We respond personally to all genuine enquiries, which means we take a little time to do so properly. We do not use automated responses for substantive enquiries.
